Daisy - Mixte Bicycle

Heritage Bicycles

  • Daisy is our flagship. Named after the cow that supposedly started the Great Chicago Fire, she is a tribute to retro American bikes, and represents our desire to appeal to every rider by making bikes that are classy, and classic, and that will look at home parked against a white-picket fence or churning up gravel in Chicago’s infamous potholes.

Although we love this mixte frame (a compromise between the traditional step-through and diamond frames) in our house colors of antique white and coffee brown, we are pleased to offer a wide variety of options for customization. As you design your Daisy you can pick your size, your colors, your speeds, and your extra gizmos and gadgets, walking away with one that looks as much or as little as our first bicycle as you like.

Testimonials

After admiring Heritage's signature Daisy from the storefront, I finally decided to buy one of my own. Customizing my very own bike was so much fun (thanks to the patient help of Alan, Arlan, and Mike)- it turned out even better than I thought it would! I opted for a three-speed with coaster brakes, and haven't regretted the decision. I have strangers come up to me all of the time asking where I got my bike, and I'm always happy to send them your way! Not to mention, the bike rides beautifully, and the leather Brooks saddle and handlebars make it extra comfortable!
