THIS PANT HAS A HEAVY WEIGHT TEXTILE. (FOR COLD CLIMATE COMMUTING)
Japan-based Teijin Fibers Ltd. launched the first environmentally friendly wool and polyester blend fabric and took two years of development. The manufacturing process does not rely on petroleum - recycled polyester made from used plastic bottles - has a soft hand and is odor/wrinkle-resistant. Garments should be machine-washed, eliminating the need for dry-cleaning. Teijin first made a splash in producing textiles from recycled materials in partnership with Patagonia in 2005 and in 2006 with Nau Inc. Teijin has been working with Nonetheless Garments since 2009 to refine the wool/PET/spandex blended textile.This pant was designed as a hybrid with traditional jean touch points and refined trouser elements.
